Printmaking I have a decade's experience in printmaking, with my main focus being my ongoing series 'momentum mori'. This explores my fascination with natural history museum exhibits and life that exists out of human sight - the infintessimal or the inhospitably remote. A lino square being cut. A terror-bird, Gastornis giganteus, from the NYNH museum. 9" x 12". A pair of deep-sea giant isopods, found lurking in the Boston NH museum. 12" x 16". Giant ground sloth hands, from the British NH museum. Printed on black cotton. 6" x 9". Too light a Tread - rhino foot from the University of Dundee collection, printed on black card. 9" x 12". Giant spider-crab spotted lurking dramatically in the NYNH museum. Monoprint on newsprint, 9" x 12". Bleep Bloop - R2D2, seen at the V&A Dundee. 9" x 12". 'Expansion', 9" x 12". |
